Hello Friends,
In the spirit of upcoming Valentine ’s Day, here is a lovely handmade greeting card to share with you today.

It makes a beautiful composition by combining various textural, linear/non-linear elements and bight, cheerful colours
The roses are stamped using Altenew’s Vintage Roses stamp set and its Red Cosmos Ink Pad Kit. The leaves are die-cut with Simon Says Stamp’s, versatile, Clustered Leaves Die and coloured with Peerless Watercolors. The decorative filigree diecut is created using Spellbinder’s Border Die and DCWV’s Foiled cardstock (the easiest way to add foil on your projects).
On a small piece of Artist's Loft watercolor paper, rays are embossed using Ranger’s Texture Paste and Tim Holtz’ Rays Stencil. The texture paste is made to allow colouring ourver it. Once the paste was dried, the piece along with embossed area were painted with yellow and orange from Peerless watercolors.
Lastly, all the elements were arranged and layered one over other using double-sided Score tape and dimensional 3M foam tape. The sunshine sentiment is stamped in Pearlescent Chocolate Brilliance Ink with Simon Says Stamp’s Birng the Sunshine stamp set. I also coloured the edges of the vellum piece with that ink and adhered with the transparent double-sided adhesive only in the sections were it touches the embossed areas.
Don’t forget to link your projects to our Monthly Challenge by February 18th, 2016 for a chance to get a GIFT VOUCHER worth Rs.500.
