Hi There!

I am Bharati Nayudu and welcome to Handmade Happiness!

I am very excited to be Guest Designing for Ranganjali and sharing ideas for Traditional Diwali Cards using some of their amazing products. Do visit their store for very elegant and fabulous designs. Click Here

Card 1 :

To make this card I first inked up the background using the Ranganjali Radiant Mandala Stencil in different distress inks. On a separate sheet I stamped and colored the images from Ranganjali Diwali Diya Stamp Set.

I then fussy cut the colored images and adhered them on the inked background.

To finish the card I mounted it on white card base.

Card 2 :

I enjoyed inking the background so much that i had to make one more card. Blending the inks using this Ranganjali Radiant Mandala Stencil and then lifting the stencil to see a crisp clean lines felt kinda therapeutic. Lol!!

Once i had the backgound ready, on a separate sheet I stamped and colored the image of this diya from Ranganjali Diwali Diya Stamp Set. I also heat embossed the sentiment from the same stampset on a black banner.

I then fussy cut the colored image and adhered the image as well as the sentiment banner using foam squares. I then embellished the card by adding pearl dots all around. on the inked background. To finish the card i mounted it on a white card base.

Do let me know what you think about it in the comments section. I love reading your views and highly appreciate your time on my blog.

Happy Crafting !! Have fun!!

Happy Diwali!!

Hugs

Bharati
