Today I am here to highlight my most favourite item from Ranganjali’s cardstocks- Woodgrain Cardstock! For me it was love at first sight <3. I feel there is no review for this product. It is excellent and you can take my word for it. So let’s say today I will describe the woodgrain cardstock and show you some examples which I made.
Ranganjali’s woodgrain cardstocks comes in A4 size (8.5” X 11”) and pack of 10. Currently, four colours are available named White, Shimmer brown (Medium brown with shimmer), Birch (Kraft shade) and Coffee (Dark brown). All colours are absolutely beautiful. White, Birch and Coffee are neutral colours and can be used with variety of colours. Shimmer brown is a medium brown with beautiful medium brown dull gold shimmer. This one can be used when you need little bit something more. My favourite is white and coffee! The texture of these woodgrain cardstocks is very fine. So it will not distract from the focus of the card but will enhance it instead. Lastly, it comes in 300gsm. It is thick and durable so can be used for variety of purposes.
Now let’s see what I made with this beautiful Ranganjali’s woodgrain cardstock.

Christmas is long over but I still have one more card left to show you. I have used Birch woodgrain cardstock to make this card. This card is made with no Christmas related supplies. First I die cut a piece of Birch woodgrain cardstock with My favourite things double stitched dies. Then to make three small ornaments I die cut it again using circle nesting dies. I added tag reinforcer pieces from My favourite things tag builder 5 set (The dark brown part) to convert my circle cut-outs into ornaments. Then I tied golden thread with a jingle bell to make them look even more realistic. To make the base first added some pattern paper behind the cut-outs and then dark brown cardstock. Lastly mounted it with foam sheets on a white card base. To finish it off I stuck letters J O Y which are covered first with wink of stella and then with lots of glossy accents. This is a card with absolutely no stamping included so it definitely needed some interest on the front panel. Ranganjali’s woodgrain cardstock beautifully adds interest while maintaining the importance of the ornaments.

Next one is a no surprise.

When we think of fine textured cardstock the first thing comes to mind is CAS card with some florals on the textured BG. I heat embossed floral images from Altenew’s painted flowers stamp set on watercolour cardstock using Versamark ink and Ranger white embossing powder. Then I watercoloured them with Distress inks (Iced spruce and Worn lipstick) I made a ton of flowers and saved the rest for future. Using the same Distress ink- Worn lipstick- I inked up a 'prayers' die cut and created little ombre effect. To assemble everything together, I first mounted a piece of Ranganjali’s White woodgrain cardstock on a black card base with some foam sheet. Arranged all the elements and adhered them with Ranger multi medium matte and some foam tape. I also added black strip with white heat embossed sentiment to tie it all together. Finished it with some pink enamel accents. Simple but sweet :). Here you can see how the white woodgrain cardstock highlights all the florals on the card. Just love it :).

If you read my previous blog posts then you know the last one is not going to be a card ;)

It’s a tiny little gift box!! Perfect for gifting chocolates, Jewellery etc. Please follow the following image to make the box.

To decorate the box I have stamped this little girl image from Mama Elephant's Girlfriends stamp set with versafine ink. It was super easy to colour her with the Zigs. Zigs clean colour markers are not just bright and vibrant but also really really easy to use. I added a sentiment banner with foam tape. Edged the banner with little distress ink (Seedless preserve) to match the image. Finished off with matching satin ribbon. Done!! I hardly took any effort and still it looks so cute :). Since Woodgrain cardstock is 300 gsm it sustained all the cutting scoring and folding required to make this box. I tell you the box looks pretty even without the image.

So what do you think? I think It’s a must have. It’s a budget friendly woodgrain card with beautiful neutral colours. Exceeded my expectations :) If you have any questions about this please ask in comments!
That is it for today. I really hope you liked this definitely give it a try.
I am loving it here.. Thank you so much again Ranganjali..! See you soon!!
Cheers!
