No Flower Cards

Hello friends!

We are presenting last minute ideas on "flower-less" cards to go with our June Challenge.

Here. the wavy background is made simply by drawing across with chisel end of blue Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers BT8, TB4, IB3 on a light blue cardstock. And, stitched pattern is created by repeated die-cutting with one of the MFT's Homespun Dies. The whale and the dolphin from Avery Elle's Whale Hello stamp set are coloured with Prima Marktetting's watercolor pencils. Drops and the heart are embellished with Glossy Accents for added dimension.

In this card, the front kraft cardstock panel is stamped in brown ink with Altenew's Way Too Sweet stamp set and then embossed with clear embossing powder. Images were coloured with, again, Prima Marketing's watercolor pencils without adding water. First white colour and over that other pencil colours were applied for better contrast. Later, for 3D effect, brown Spectrum Noirs- TN4 and TN5 was applied and blended with light grey GG1.
