Hello crafty friends,

Today, I am sharing some cards created using latest released dies by Ranganjali. These are beautiful Diwali dies. They are deeply etched dies which cut even heavy card stock so easily. Making bulk diwali cards are so easier with them.

If you already don’t know, they have few Diwali stamp sets too. I have combined them with dies for today’s projects.

Let’s start with first one.

Here, I have used ‘Happy Diwali’ word die and Lotus of Prosperity stamp set. I stamped few lotus, leaves and a bud on water color card stock, used Peerless water colors to color them and fussy cut. For the word die, I used golden glitter card stock and mauve card stock. I adhere both die cuts little off centre so the mauve die cut will create a drop shadow for the word. I assembled everything on a textured beige card base. I just love how the whole card turned out. It matches the modern feel of that word die.

For second card, I have used Ornamental Diya die and Diwali Diya stamp set.

The Ornamental diya die is very detailed yet it cuts beautifully. I stamped and embossed rangoli in gold from Diwali Diya Stamp set. I filled it with water colors and added some details with Tombow markers. I use golden mirror sheet to cut the diya and backed it with some maroon and orange card stock for the pop of colors. Finished it with a sentiment from Lotus of Prosperity stamp set.

Last one is very colourful card. I have combined Auspicious Beginning stamp set and Festive Lantern die.

I stamped Ganapati in a gradient colors using Distress Oxides (spiced marmalade, Abandon coral, Aged mahogany ) on a 4 x 5.25 inch white panel. I embossed few pipal leaves in green around Ganapati and colored it with Peerless water colors. I cut 3 lanterns from metallic gold card stock and backed it with vellum colored with Copics to match the colors of Ganapati. I chopped off some strings from the bottom of lanterns to fit them in my layout. In the last, I finished it with Gold embossed sentiment and mounting the panel on a off white card base.

I am sure you enjoyed my creation an hope that you will give these dies and stamp set a try for the Diwali.

I thank Ranganjali for giving me this opportunity.
