Thank you Neha for sharing your ideas with us!
Hey Friends,
I am excited to share today’s post with you. I am using Ranganjali’s own photopolymer stamps. They are high quality, photopolymer stamps. The size is 4x8 inches ...yes, they are large sets. I am using three sets today Auspicious Beginnings, Diwali Diya and Lotus Of Prosperity. All the sets are very much Indian and all the motifs can be used for making ethnic invitations too.

For the first card, I embossed the leaves from Auspicious Beginnings set in gold on velum and fussy cut them. I coloured the bigger leaf with ZIG markers. For the background, I used Hypnotic stencil by Penny Black with Distress inks. I also have use Ranganjali’s clear dew drops as an embellishment. They come in 4mm size. Being so little, they add quite a punch to the project.
Do you like the card? There is a surprise inside...:) It is a pop-up card...:) My first ever ! The Rangoli in Diwali Diya set was calling for a pop-up.

I colored the rangoli and diya using ZIG markers. Also added some detail in corners with the same stencil as the front.
For the second card, I initially thought of using watercolours, yellows and greys to paint the halo of diya... diya fading away in the darkness...! But I decided to give it a twist and used papers in shades of yellow and grey to show the gradient look.

I used Spellbinder Nestabilities dies to cut the circles and used negatives to assemble the halo. Diya is colored with ZIG markers. The layers of papers gives interesting dimension. Check the close up.

The third card is the simplest one and ideal for mass production.

I stamped leaf with two different shades of brown inks, embossed Ganesha in white, cut with oval die and added a sentiment. I have used craft, as I love craft and red combo but you can use white and stamp leaves in multiple colours to give festive look.
The next card uses the Lotus Of Prosperity stamp set.

For water, I have used Simon say stamp’s WAVE stencil with distress inks. All the images are embossed in gold on watercolour paper, coloured with Mission Gold water colors, fussy cut and adhered with Glue Dots to form a cluster. I added clear dew drops on leaves and lotus ...they actually look like water droplets on leaf...:) see...

Next project is some mini cards. I pulled out my scrap and made these beauties in no time with these beautiful stamps. They are ideal to stick on sweet/gift boxes. And best part is easy to mass produce. It is folded so you can write message and sender’s name inside.

There is lot of demand of money envelope during festive and wedding seasons. You can use all these stamps for the same. Be it wedding, house warming, engagement – they work for all...:) .
I made gift card/cash holder for the same purpose. I love the compact size and how it serves the dual purpose. They are 4.5x3 inches in size.
I lined the inside with some wrapping paper to jazz it up.
I hope I inspired you enough and you will give these stamps a try.
Create something beautiful and share with us. We would love to see them.
Thank you Ranganjali for this opportunity !
Hugs.
Neha
