Hello friends,

I am back with bunch of cards with another stunning Auspicious Beginning Die Set by Ranganjali. This one is ultimate for all Indian crafters. For making wedding invites to shagun envelopes, this one is a must! It coordinates well with their Auspicious Beginning Stamp Set.

It is a set of 4 dies – 2 cuts outer solid shape of Om and Ganpati while other 2 cuts actual motifs with details.

Let’s start with the projects I created.

I tried inlaid die cutting for the first project. I made this envelope from a rustic white card stock from my stash. I blended Tea Dye Distress Ink in a corner, let it dry and embossed the pipal leaves from the Auspicious Beginning Stamp Set in white.

I also embossed same leaf in copper in another corner. For Ganpati, I die cut one solid part from a white cardstock, and two detailed cut from green and glitter gold cardstocks. I adhered green diecut on white solid diecut to give backing for my inlaid pieces.

Now, I glued all the tiny pieces from glitter diecut into the green diecut. This will give interesting flat

look to your focal point. I also added Om die cut from a glitter on a flap.

Second one is a card. I simply die cut one ganpati from a dark green cs and used the leftover glitter diecut from previous project. I glued both of them with a slight offset to create depth. I stamped few brush strokes in peach and red to give a back drop for my die cut. Sentiment is from papertry ink.

Next project uses the stamped and embossed ganpati and just solid die cut.

I stamped ganpati with 2 colors of oxides and embossed it with clear powder, cut the stamped image just with outline die. I also stamped, embossed and fussy cut few pipal leaves from vellum. I mounted everything on an embossed panel using foam tape. I just love how these dies coordinate with the stamp, giving multiple possibilities.

Next project uses just the detailed die. I diecut 3 different colored cardstocks and mounted all diecuts with offset, on a tag. This gives very trendy look to traditional ganpatiji...:)

Last project consists of 3 mini cards. These are very simple, quick cards using negatives of detailed die. I used fluorescent papers to give a punch to these beauties.

For this one, I just used trunk, mugut and ears from blue die cut and hand drew eye to give definition.

There are many other ways we can use this die which I leave it to you guys to explore. I hope you can see the potential and give it a go. I am sure you will be as pleased as I am with the quality and design.
