Colourful Lanterns: Diwali Greetings

Hi everyone! Sindhu here. I have a couple of cards made using the recently released Ranganjali Diwali dies. I used the Festive Lantern and the Happy Diwali sentiment dies this time.

Here is my first card.

I started by die cutting several lanterns from white cardstock. Then I sponged yellow ink on three of them. I layered the white die cut on the yellow one. I made three such lanterns. While layering, I offset the white die cut for the yellow one to be seen. I then backed each lantern with vellum which I coloured using Copics. I assembled the card and added the sentiment in black. I wanted a little colour near the sentiment. So, I traced the diyas through negative space with a Copic friendly black pen and coloured in with a yellow marker.
